  1. PwrSwitcher Release Notes 1.0 final

  3. PwrSwitcher is a System 7 control panel that lets you change from one application to another using your keyboard instead of the Finder's application menu. This works with any Apple keyboard having a power key, as well as on the Mac Portable (using the esc key instead).

  5. PwrSwitcher 1.0 is functionally identical to 1.0b2; the size is a few hundred bytes smaller (by removing MacsBug names) and the version number has changed.

Despite my _gentle_ explanation that PwrSwitcher works correctly in all circumstances _only_ if at least one modifier key is used for every command, _some_ people (you know who you are ;-) _insisted_ on having a version with the old behavior; they want to cycle applications using just the power key. OK, OK, so I've included a modified copy called "PwrSwitcher NC" that has the "old-style" (i.e. prior to 1.0b2) behavior. Just remember that I said "I told you so" when you forget that Excel, Illustrator, and maybe other applications do weird things (like switch out of the foreground) with the "NC" version. ;-)

  9. This version (as b2 before it) has a control panel with balloon help and preference settings. Also, I completely rewrote the docs beginning with b1 - if you haven't read them since the "a" series, please do!
